Getting started

How do I get started?

Sign up at app.useyona.com, verify your business, and select Elyonar as your Access Point on the taxpayer portal of the NRS. Yona detects it and turns invoicing on. You can try every step on the sandbox first.

Do I need a developer?

No. The Yona app covers the whole flow without code. If you have your own software, connect it through the API, the SDK or the MCP server.

Can Elyonar integrate our ERP for us?

Yes. As a licensed System Integrator, Elyonar can design and build the connection between your ERP, accounting or custom billing system and e-invoicing with the NRS. Talk to an integration specialist to scope it.

Can I try it first?

Yes. The sandbox is open now, with free test credits, and runs the real flow against the test system of the NRS with no legal effect.

How do I connect my business through Yona?

Enable e-invoicing on the taxpayer portal of the NRS and select Elyonar as your Access Point. Yona detects it and turns on invoicing for you.

Compliance and the tax authority

What is an Access Point Provider?

A company licensed to connect taxpayers to the e-invoicing network run by the NRS. It signs, transmits and receives invoices on their behalf. Elyonar is one, and Yona is its product.

What happens to an invoice I issue?

It is validated against the e-invoicing schema, signed with its reference number and QR code, reported to the NRS and delivered to the buyer's access point. You can follow every step as it happens.

What if my customer isn't on the e-invoicing network?

We send the invoice by email or a share link. It is still reported to the NRS.

What do the licence numbers mean?

They are our licences as an Access Point Provider and a System Integrator. They are not tax-authority service ids.

Which tax authorities are supported?

Today the live network is the one run by the NRS. The app and the API are built to add other jurisdictions as they go live.

Issuing invoices

Can I send real invoices today?

Yes. Connect your business to the NRS through Yona and issue live invoices. You can test every step on sandbox first, with free test credits.

Can I change or cancel an invoice after it is reported?

A reported invoice cannot be edited. Cancel it with a credit note, or correct an amount with a debit note; both are reported too.

How do my customers get the invoice?

By email, by a share link, or as a PDF you download. A buyer on the e-invoicing network receives it through their own access point as well.

How are invoices numbered?

Yona numbers your invoices in sequence for your business. When the NRS registers an invoice it adds its own reference, which appears on the document with the QR code.

Receiving invoices

Which invoices will I see as received?

Invoices other businesses issue to you through the e-invoicing network. Once you select Elyonar as your Access Point, your earlier history comes in too.

Can I bring in invoices from before I joined?

Yes. After you select Elyonar as your Access Point, your earlier invoices held by the NRS are imported.

Plans and credits

How does pricing work?

Every plan grants monthly credits, and each action, such as reporting an invoice, uses credits. The plans and the cost of every action are read from our billing system, so what the page shows is what is charged.

Do credits have a cash value?

No. A credit is a unit, not a sum of money. A plan says how many credits you get each month; the price list says what each action costs.

What happens when I run out of credits?

An action that needs more credits than you have is refused, and nothing is half done. Top up in the app at any time, and set a low-balance alert so it does not surprise you.

Is there a yearly plan?

Yes. A year costs ten months and grants twelve months of credits.

Is the sandbox free?

Yes. Sandbox actions draw on a separate sandbox allowance that refills every month and can be topped up free in the app.

Partners and platforms

I run a software platform. Can I build on Yona?

Yes, in one of two ways. To use Yona's invoicing inside your own systems, create a Yona account and build on the Yona API (see /developers). If you are a system integrator or ERP running your own integration, join the partner programme: sign up at partners.useyona.com, complete KYB, and connect to the Yona Access Point API; your customers select Elyonar as their Access Point and grant you access.

Do my customers need their own licence?

No. They enable e-invoicing on the taxpayer portal of the NRS, select Elyonar as their Access Point and grant your product access. The licence is ours; the integration is yours.

Is there a sandbox for partners?

Yes. Sandbox credentials come with your partner account. The sandbox runs the real flow against the test system of the NRS, with no legal effect.

What does the partner programme cost?

Partner pricing is agreed per partner, on volume and on how you serve your customers. Talk to us and we will set it up with you.

How do I know a notification came from Yona?

Every webhook delivery is signed. Verify the signature, then read the current state through the API before acting on it.

Security and data

How is my data protected?

Yona is certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and registered as a data controller with the data protection regulator (NDPC/DCP/12069). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

How is my account protected?

Two-step verification and passkeys, sign-in with Microsoft, Google and GitHub, and single sign-on for your organisation.

Who can see my invoices?

The members of your organisation, according to their roles, and the API keys you create, with the capabilities you give them.

You run a business, not a tax office.

Sign up, try every step in the sandbox, and send your first e-invoice to the NRS today.
